Upcoming Dates — Check out February Flyer 2012!

  • Souper Sunday at Woodland: This event will start at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5 and will continue until the end of the Super Bowl. We will have both a Soup and Wing competition so I encourage you to participate in that competition and bring home some bragging rights on Sunday night! We will also be collecting can food items to be donated to a local food bank and when you bring two canned food items you will be entered into a raffle competition for prizes that will be given away throughout the entire event. We will also have board games for everyone to enjoy in addition to watching the Super Bowl. I hope to see you all there for this event on Sunday afternoon!
  • Re-Group on Sunday Afternoons: We have changed the name of our Sunday afternoon meeting time and it is now called “Re-Group.” The structure is still the same, with sharing a meal together, having a Bible Study, and enjoying some fun activities and games. There is also a sign-up sheet for people to either host our Re-Group time in their homes or bring a meal for us to enjoy. The sign-up sheet is located on the Youth Bulletin board which is located outside of the Conference Room [the old Choir room].
  • World Changers and Summer Camp Trip Interest Meeting: This will be Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm and for the first hour of our Re-Group time I will be presenting our Summer Mission Trip as well as our Summer Youth Camp options and will have a sign-up sheet for these events to get more of a head count for those who will be willing and able to attend. This will be an important meeting for parents and youth to attend so that I can get an idea of how many people are going to be able to go and I will look forward to seeing you all there as well!
  • Youth Small Group on Wednesday Nights: We have also changed the name for our Youth Group time on Wednesday nights to “Youth Small Group Time.” During this time from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. each Wednesday night, we will be looking at various Bible passages in more of a discussion based environment where the students can feel comfortable both asking and answering questions raised by myself and others in the group.
  • February 12, 19 & 26 at 4:00 p.m.
All youth (7th – 12th grade) are invited to attend on Sunday afternoon from 4:00-7:00 p.m. to share a meal, study the Bible, and enjoy some fun activities & fellowship.
