The following regulations are hereby adopted regarding the sale and use of spaces in Woodland Baptist Church cemetery:
- Spaces owned by Woodland Baptist Church will be sold only to members. No more than 2 spaces may be sold to any family unless justification for the need for more spaces is made to the committee. Examples include spaces for children.
- No grave may be dug until at least 2 members of the cemetery committee shall have measured and appropriately marked the space in which a corpse is to be buried. In an emergency where only one member of the committee is available, a member of the church staff may be used as a substitute for a committee member.
- All corpses must be buried in a vault. Only one vault per space is allowed.
- Cremated remains may be buried in an urn without a vault. There may be up to four urns per grave space.
- Grave markers may be either upright or surface type.
- Memorial plaques may be placed on a grave space without a corpse. No more than four memorial plaques per grave are allowed.
- When relocated remains are to be interred, N.C. Department of Transportation specifications must be adhered to including the placing of a marker for each group.
